FAQ
How does it work?
If you're heading away for a short trip and need your cat to be fed, we can help. We’ll drop in to feed your cat, refresh their water, manage any litter box needs (if requested), and of course a few pats. On request we can also collect the mail, water plants, or other basic tasks. We will spend up to 15 minutes visiting your home.
How much does it cost per visit?
- Sun-Thurs: $65
- Fri-Sat: $75
- Public holidays (including Christmas day): $85
Which areas do you service?
Currently these are the suburbs we service:
Christchurch Central, St Albans, Merivale, Fendalton, Riccarton, Middleton, Addington, Spreydon, Somerfield, Beckenham, Cashmere, Cracroft, Westmorland, Hoon Hay, Halswell, Wigram, Aidanfield, Hillmorton.
If you live outside of these suburbs but would like to request our services, please submit an enquiry and we'll see if we can accommodate you.
What's included in the visit
- Daily update:
- A record of whether or not we saw your cat (and if they did come to say hello we'll share a photo)
- A record/photo of how much food + water was eaten when we arrived
- Any other notes you request in your booking
- Household tasks (on request):
- Plant watering (must provide detailed instructions on which plants and how much water they require)
- Bringing rubbish bins in/putting them out
- Bringing in your mail
- If there is anything else you need from us, have a chat and we'd love to see if we can accommodate for it.
Do you charge extra for multiple cats?
Nope! In the very unlikely event you have so many cats that we can't tend to them in the allocated time slot (15 mins), we would handle that on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise we do not charge any extra for multiple cats.
Can you administer medication?
We can administer pills, cream and inhalers with your detailed instructions. We cannot administer insulin. We do not have clinical training to administer medication and if you ask us to administer medication this is done at your own risk.
